Health Provision Clinics Volunteering Project in Kenya aims to place enthusiastic volunteers to make a positive impact on the lives of the underserved people in the region. Volunteers in this program work in medical clinics, dispensaries, and hospitals in and around the city of Nairobi. Suited for medical professionals from all over the world who want to help out, medical students (both doctors and nursing) can join the project and assist in clinical work. Volunteers schedule is flexible and can vary depending on the needs of the placement.

Volunteer Roles & Responsibilities

Volunteer tasks vary and depend on the level of experience, qualifications,medical training etc.

  • Pre Medical students assist the local doctors and staff in doing basic tasks such as checking weight and temperature of the patients, cleaning wounds and also doing administrative tasks in the placement.
  • Medical students generally help in checking blood pressure, suturing wounds, doing rounds with patients and  work in areas of maternal health, surgery, laboratories, counseling and testing etc.

Just pack your bags and land in Nairobi and get working at your volunteering placement. The rest is for us to handle, from your airport transfers, your stay, food and weekend tours, we manage and facilitate everything for you.

Airport Transfer

You will be met by our representative at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in Nairobi from where you are transferred to the accommodations in Nairobi itself. Volunteers who will be already in Kenya or arriving overland would need to give us their contact details so that the pickup can be arranged from a specific location.


Volunteer Accommodations is provided in a volunteer house or in a homestay. The volunteer house is taken care of by localhost and has all the modern amenities available to ensure a comfortable stay for the volunteers. Some of the facilities available are showers, microwave, and refrigerator in the kitchen and a lounge area for the volunteers. Rooms in the volunteer house are typical dorm style rooms with 4-8 participants of the same gender sharing a room.
